At the age of 27, I was entering my 26th home. In 2022, facing the anguish of moving once more, I embarked on a creative endeavor to confront my feelings of restlessness and housing insecurity. Itinerant is my attempt to document the ghosts of all 26 places I’ve lived. With a childlike lens, I sought to recall identifiable memory markers in each space - those subtle defining souvenirs that linger in the corners of the mind. Without the existence of reference images, I rely wholly on these markers, embracing the challenge of reconstructing the past from an imperfect emotional archive. This ongoing project has become a form of therapeutic catharsis, through these works, I not only chart the geography of my life but also navigate identity, resilience, and belonging.
