Indi Foerster is an artist whose nomadic life resists fixed boundaries of what it means to have a home. They are a multimedia painter whose work navigates themes of catharsis, disorientation, and grief. Through painting, Foerster explores memory not only as a relived experience, but as a universal landscape where trauma, identity, and perception interact. By confronting the fragility of recollection, Foerster draws upon the ambiguity of existence, creating works that reflect a personal reckoning with life - an attempt to locate the joie de vivre within catastrophe.
